Maia Friedlander is a Toronto-based live performer specializing in multi-prop, LED, and fire performance. Performing primarily across Toronto, she creates dynamic visual experiences using fan work, fire props, and custom-designed LED elements, with additional experience performing internationally in Cuba and teaching in Texas.
With a background in arts and prop design, Maia discovered her passion for flow arts while recovering from an injury, using movement as a way to reconnect with her body. Alongside performance, she designs and builds custom fiber optic costumes, continuously evolving her work through both choreography and visual design.
